       this subtree hails from the sgigate.sgi.com ftp site
       under sgigate.sgi.com:~ftp/pub/opengl.  the samples
       directory contains the content of its respective
       samples.tar.Z file while the man.tar.Z and spec.tar.Z
       documentation files live in the 
       ../../../../documents/OpenGL/extensions directory

This directory contains documentation and sample code for the
OpenGL extensions.  If you have questions regarding that material

man.tar.Z       - extension man pages for extensions shipped for
                  IRIX 5.3 and patch154

spec.tar.Z      - extension specfications (structured as
                  modifications to the core OpenGL spec)

samples.tar.Z   - a directroy of source code for example programs
		  using some of the extensions.  The directory contains
		  a README file describing the different programs.
